31 Years Anniversary with BBB: Zero Complaints!
When I started Long Life Windows & Doors in 1989, it was important to me to stay a small business so that we could always provide exceptional service to our customers. In 1991, we became an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Although their name hints at their purpose, the BBB helps folks find trustworthy businesses. For over 100 years, they have been reviewing companies and assisting people in finding reputable companies.
Of course, as we celebrate our 31st anniversary with the BBB, we are proud to be a longstanding member. However, we are more thrilled that in our 31 years, Long Life Windows & Doors has had zero complaints from its customers. Servicing our clients well is something I’ve wanted to do from the beginning, and it’s humbling to reflect on the fact that we’ve had so many satisfied customers.
The Bureau monitors accredited entities for ongoing adherence to eight principles called the standards of marketplace trust: build trust, advertise honestly, tell the truth, be transparent, honor promises, be responsive, guard privacy and embody integrity.
You can peruse our testimonials page, but here are a few excerpts from what our clients have said over the years.
“I could not be more pleased with my recent Long Life installation of Fibreglass doors and vinyl windows…They got it right the first time, which, unfortunately, is all too rare these days.”
–James in Delta
“We got several quotes and chose Long Life because of their product knowledge, their service, and their obvious commitment to building customer relationships. Everything went exactly as promised, and their follow-up was terrific.”
–Marni and Gord in North Vancouver
“We couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of the finished product – the crew was very receptive to our direction and extremely professional throughout.”
–Oz in Richmond
Another point of transparency that the BBB highlights is how a company uses its funds to help others. Not only do they provide Business Profiles on each company, but the BBB also allows businesses to highlight their contributions and impact via Charity Reports. Long Life Windows & Doors also actively gives back, making a difference in the community, which is important for our clients.
“Just opened the mail to see the donation to Mission Possible, and this just makes us appreciate you guys even more.”
–Rachelle in Port Coquitlam
As a family-owned business, helping others is essential to each one of us—family members and employees alike. Community, sustainability, and relationships are at our core, and we are proud that our longstanding rating with the BBB highlights this fact.
