Kris has been around the renovation industry since his early teen years, spending time in the office with his father, Pat. Kris started his career in the window business as an installer between semesters at Trinity Western University.
With Kris' practical experience, passion for innovation, entrepreneurial nature, and customer first attitude he has proudly led Long Life Windows and Doors since 2011.

Pat Alexander founded Long Life Windows and Doors in 1989. While Pat has since retired from the day to day operations of the business in 2011, he still pops in the office from time to time to share his wisdom and Dad jokes.
Pat belief in being hands-on and staying small enough to deliver exceptional service has remained a core value of our business.
Pat has been a board member of the Siding and Window Dealers Association of Canada (SAWDAC) for many years. SAWDAC developed The National Window Wise Certification Program, and Pat is proud that Long Life was the first company in BC to offer the benefits of this program to their customers.

Josh is a North Vancouverite born and raised. He has worked with us for over 10 years and has 25 years in the window and door industry. Josh is a carpenter by trade, solution oriented, window installation master!

While there are many roles within Long Life, they fall mainly within two categories: Window Installation and Sales.
Window Installation
Whether you have previous experience or are looking to learn the trade from the ground up, Long Life’s installers complete extensive training on and off the job. This ensures that each team member completes work with the same dedication to craftsmanship and consistency.
From proper flashing techniques to shimming and finishing, you’ll learn everything required to become a Professional Certified Window Installer. We care about our employees, and provide our installers with all the tools necessary to do quality work. All you need to bring is a respectful, honest work ethic and a professional attitude.
Sales
At Long Life, we hire and reward sales professionals who pride themselves on honesty, knowledge and professionalism. With ongoing training that includes finance plans and proven sales techniques, you’ll have the full support of a team that’s got your back.
