Long Life Wants YOU to Join Our Team of Expert Window Installation Crews!
Hi, Pat here! Do you know someone looking for a new career? If so, we’d love them (or you!) to join us at Long Life Windows & Doors, a family-owned, high-end window and door installation company that has been in Vancouver since 1989. This is a great opportunity for your kids, grandkids, maybe a neighbour looking for a career right out of high school in a unique industry. We pride ourselves in quality and longevity — both with our services and our people.
Our Window Installation Teams work directly with our clientele, resulting in employee job satisfaction and good reviews for our teams. Don’t take my word for it, just check on Google Reviews and our Homestar Reviews to see for yourself.
We are offering entry-level positions for folks who would love to join our window installation crews and get their foot in the door of this niche and rewarding industry. The reality is that there are no all-encompassing programs available to teach you how to replace residential windows correctly, the only practical option is to be hired as a helper on a crew and learn on the job. This means that you will be learning skills from the other members of the crew, who have spent many years honing their skills and are very good at coming up with solutions to construction problems without being able to refer to a manual.
Experience is a great teacher, and over the decades the top crew leaders have learned how to correctly deal with any situation for a proper, weathertight installation. We’re always perfecting the skills of our crews to ensure customer satisfaction and confidently back our lifetime warranty.
Our employees pride themselves on high quality work and customer service. So if you’re motivated, hardworking, and friendly, we would love for you to consider joining us at Long Life Windows & Doors.
Here are the details about our Entry Level Jobsite Helper, Window Installer, and Crew Foreman positions:
- Permanent, full-time, salaried positions
- On the job training provided
- Benefits and paid vacation
- 40-hour work week
Here’s what we would love to see from those applying:
- Reliable vehicle and driver’s license (or the ability to have a consistent ride to job sites throughout the lower mainland)
- A desire to join and contribute to a close-knit team
- Positive attitude
- General labour experience (not a must, but it’s helpful!)
Our salaries start at $18.00-$42.00 per hour, depending on your role and related experience.
If you want to join our team (or know of someone else who does!), send an email that includes the position(s) you are interested in, a bit about you, and any related experience to [email protected] with the subject line “Applicant: Installation Crew Member.”
We look forward to meeting (and hopefully working with) you — or possibly your kids, grandkids, or neighbour. Spread the word!
