Replacing the windows or doors in your home is easy when you partner with a family-run company whose reputation speaks for itself. With in-house crews, knowledgeable window and door experts, and lifelong warranties, Long Life gives you peace of mind.
You’ll meet our respectful, professional, and conscientious team, and they’ll provide you with all the details you need to be confident and informed in your choices. We treat your home as we would our own.
Our door installation and window installation processes consist of five simple steps:

Step 1 – Introductions, Home Visit and Quote
Hello! We always arrange a brief visit before creating and sending you a quote.
- We can provide you with information about your options, and help you find the best solution for your needs and budget.
- We’ll send you a quote by email, along with a few more details about our company and qualifications.
- All you have to do is respond to our email to accept the quote.

Step 2 – Welcome Email
We’ll send you a work order after we’ve received your agreement by email.
This document will include all important details pertaining to the job, including approximate installation date and type of installation. It’s the perfect place and time for you to give us any important instructions, like “don’t let the cat out of the bathroom” or “be careful near the rose bushes.”

Step 3 – Second Home Visit and Measurements
An installation foreman will arrange a time to measure the windows and doors we’ll be replacing. With a focus on communication and respect, our personable team will answer any questions, as well as make note of any special requests you may have.
Next, we place your order and wait for your customized items to arrive.

Step 4 – Scheduling Your Installation
As soon as your custom made to order windows and/or doors are almost ready, we’ll confirm a mutually beneficial installation date with you. Depending on how many windows and/or doors you have to replace, the job will generally take anywhere from one to four days to complete. This is estimated and communicated before the work begins.

Step 5 – Installation and Payment
Now it’s time for our in house master installation crews to get to work! During the window installation (and/or door installation), our sales representative will often come by to make sure everything is proceeding according to plan, at this time we typically receive payment for the work.

One word that sums up the purchase and install is “amazing!” The install crew were extremely careful and clean inside the house, very polite, and efficient is an understatement. 16 windows and a patio sliding door all done in 2 days!! I almost want to say too bad I won’t be dealing with this company anytime soon given the quality product and quality installation we just received today! 6 out of 5 stars for sure!!

We recently had Long Life change all the windows and outside doors in our house and we are very happy. The experience was great right from the beginning when their estimator came into our home to take all the measurements. On install day, their team showed up on time and ready to go. The foreman had a deep understanding and knowledge about windows and installations and had the crew working quickly and efficiently for the few days while doing the install. They did everything correctly and cleaned up and took all their garbage on the way out, leaving us with the nice new windows and no mess. We got quotes from a few different companies before selecting Long Life - what did it for us is they are a local Vancouver family company and they have all their own staff for installs and no random contractors and we knew the quality was going to be high. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for quality windows, doors and installation for your home. Would use again.
